Day 1

Patients are required to surrender their medications, passport, and cash for safekeeping. This protocol ensures your safety, as ibogaine can impair decision-making abilities. Clinic staff will check your belongings for any drugs or dangerous items. You are welcome to keep your electronic devices.

2–4

Days 2–4

Our expert medical team will manage withdrawal symptoms and conduct thorough health assessments to tailor your ibogaine treatment for optimal outcomes. An EKG will be performed, along with blood and urine tests for a comprehensive health evaluation. Our in-house cardiologist will conduct an ultrasound of your heart.

Our therapists and support staff will help establish your intentions and post-treatment goals. You will participate in activities such as yoga, stretching, and massages to prepare mentally, physically, and spiritually for your treatment day.

Day 5

Treatment usually begins at 9:00 A.M. in a comfortable, calming setting. Our expert nurses will start your IV, connect you to a heart monitor, and administer Dramamine to mitigate nausea. Ibogaine HCl is given in capsule form on an empty stomach, with dosage tailored to your weight and clinical factors.

Approximately one hour after taking ibogaine you may start to feel tingling, warmth, and auditory sensations. This is followed by vivid visions — intense yet often therapeutic — lasting 3–5 hours. Once visions subside you enter a deeply introspective processing stage, which can last 12–36 hours. You will remain in the treatment room for 8 hours post-dosing before returning to your own room.

Day 6

You may receive your first maintenance dose of ibogaine — no less than 24 hours after the flood dose — to alleviate lingering withdrawal symptoms and further enhance neuroplasticity. This dose will not induce visions and requires only a few hours of monitoring.

You will also participate in your first integration session with one of our expert psychotherapists, who will help you derive meaningful insights from your experiences. Ibogaine's long-lasting benefits stem from neuroplasticity occurring in the 4–6 weeks following administration.

7–9

Days 7–9

Our focus turns to deeper integration and additional ibogaine doses as needed. The conditions we treat can cause brain-chemistry imbalances that take several days to stabilize. Many patients report renewed improvement each day following the flood dose.

Our team will ensure your needs are addressed throughout this phase, and you will have ample opportunity to work with our therapists to solidify your aftercare plan.

Day 10

Your final morning at the clinic. Staff will assist with discharge planning, answer any remaining questions, and coordinate your private transfer back to Cancun International Airport (CUN) for your flight home.

Aftercare is a critical part of the ibogaine treatment process and varies for each patient. Typically it involves maintaining regular contact with an aftercare specialist for several months post-treatment.

As ibogaine-induced neuroplasticity occurs over days and weeks after administration, aftercare is essential for your recovery. We will help you plan aftercare that responds to your needs and preferences to achieve the best possible outcome.
